The Birds

I have seen the film Open Range with Kevin Costner. It is true that this might be a half decent Kevin Costner film. The only thing holding it back, in my opinion is the musical score. The score itself is too grand, similar to music maybe fit for a Walt Disney film.



In short, I felt I could make a much more interesting score for 'Open Range', only realizing that I can never get access to the film without the current musical score. However, I did the next best thing. I found a great film that has no musical score.

Influenced by Hitchcock's film The Birds, I have created a musical composition that reflects my love for the film. I have also been working to produce a special limited edition vinyl released via the notorious artist collective, 16 Pound Rabbit containing the musical score. I will be raising the money through a website called Kick Starter within the next month. This will help me pay for the record as well as sell to a few to people willing to donate a few cents.
